A Very Great Show
That other person that was talking about a fruitless search must either be a moron or an axxhole or both. I was at this show & as most shows at the Omni, the boys brought their A game!! Now previous to this show my brother & I had tix to the Dead at Oakland Coliseum for all 3 Chinese New Year shows. And after driving all the way across the country to California we woke up to find that someone had broken into the car & stolen everything including our tix. And then it took us over a week to get home for lack of bread! And after ALL OF THAT & we get to the Omni & during the 2nd set we get to hear them play "LONG, LONG WAY TO GO HOME" for the first time! It may have been the second time they played it BUT IT WAS THE FIRST TIME WE HEARD IT!! It was almost as if it was written about our own personal experience!!! Because it really was a Long, long, long long way...to go home!!!! But that was over & we were having a good time. Granted, if you try to compare this with 77 it's not easy to give it a bunch of stars but IN MY BOOK, MY FAVORITE DEAD SHOW WAS ALWAYS EITHER THE ONE I WAS AT OR THE NEXT ONE! Until we lost Jerry that is. Although I did see the boys play many times after Jerry passed, it wasn't even close to the same without the man! I never saw any of those 77 shows. My first show was in 88 but I never regretted attending a single concert that he played. Jerry even on his worst night was still better than not seeing him. Cuz you can bet your ass he was trying to make it the best that he could cuz he was that kind of person!!! Lots of love to you Jerry Garcia!!! Its been almost 25 years since we lost you & you are still loved and missed very much!!! And just for that I'm calling this a 5 star show!

A fruitless search
My search through these recordings has failed to uncover one that sounds good enough to listen to much of the show and tell whether it's good or not. If you think it's worth it, some method of balancing the volumes of the different instruments/mics seems necessary for quality purposes.
